Princess Benedikte of Denmark visited the Pressalit manufacturing facility today. She wore a royal purple felt trilby with a slightly diagonal crown and raised brim on one side for this engagement. I ADORE this hat on her! Doesn’t she look stylish?

Queen Beatrix was at the Societeit de Witte in The Hague today to attend the 20th anniversary of the High Commission on National Minorities. Beatrix wore a navy straw hat with double bumper brim that appears to be new.

Queen Margrethe of Denmark attended The Queen’s Parade and handed out honours at the Royal Life Guard’s Barracks in Copenhagen today. She wore what appears to be a new hat- a black bumper hat with faux fur brim and a red button embellishment on the side. What do you think?

Prince William, The Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry attended the wedding of their friends Mark Tomlinson (a polo player) and Laura Bechtolsheimer (Olympic dressage gold medalist) in Arosa, Switzerland today. Kate wore a smart chocolate John Lock & Co. pillbox she wore last March on her St. Patrick’s Day visit to Aldershot Barracks, this time with a different coat, dress and fur collar. I really like this hat on Kate- it’s a great shape and style for her. The color makes it a little boring (again, we have the problem of the hat blending in with the hair) but for this occasion, where she probably wants to stay in the background and not upstage the bride, it’s just perfect.

Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall, attended celebrations for St. David’s Day in Cardiff today. Camilla wore a dark chocolate brown twin (also designed by Lock & Co.) to the grey Paddington hat she wore in Devon earlier this week… maybe this style is growing on me but this one doesn’t seem so bad. What do you think?
