Princess Caroline of Hanover and Monaco celebrates her 57th birthday today. This new grandmother continues to wow in Chanel couture; while she does not wear hats often, the millinery she chooses tends to be understated and elegant. I would love to see her in this hat by French milliner Céline Robert. The shape and embellishment are wonderfully dramatic while the charcoal colour fits well with the dark neturals Caroline usually wears. Trés chic, non?

Princess Caroline looked so beautiful back at Prince Duke Guillame and Princess Duchess Stephanie’s wedding in Luxembourg with that Chanel hat with net veil. She looks so good in fancier hats rather than the plain ones she usually wears. The black Polly hat by my favorite designer Tricia Roush is my pick for her.

I like the black and white ideas. I also like this for Caroline

Black and white feels right for Caroline, although I’d like something more modern. Rosie Olivia would be perfect.

Chanel works for her so well. Why change? If I had the option to wear Chanel every day, I wouldn’t think twice!
Agreed. Awon Golding’s Loren hat is Chanel-inspired and would be fabulous for her

There is so many birthdays in January! Princess Caroline is so elegant I don’t want to see her in a fussy hat.
