Last Friday, Queen Sonja opened the exhibition “Christian Krohg and the Times of the Kristiania Bohemians” in Copenhagen. For this event, she repeated her black sequined beret-style brimless hat. In the first photo, the hat looks a little squashed but all seems restored in the second photo. This is a sharp, angular hat but I think that makes it interesting and it seems well suited to Queen Sonja. What do you think?

Very elegant ensemble and it suits her well–even the peplum. Can you imagine Queen Elizabeth sporting a Chanel bag??
Very elegant. Love the necklace!
The overall outfit is elegant but I just can’t like the pyramid shaped hat.
Lovely! This hat does suit her very well.
I like the different shape. I found one similar worn by Mary, Queen of Scots. See link: http://www.marileecody.com/maryqos1565.jpg
What a wonderful comparison. Thank you so much for sharing!
