Princess Benedikte Enjoys Namesake Race Day

Princess Benedikte attended a namesake race day at the Klampenborg Racecourse in Copenhagen on Monday. For this honor, she wore a new pink monochrome striped picture hat with feathers one the side. I thought it was most interesting (and unique) how the stripes wrapped around the crown of this hat, then fanned out around the brim. I adore Princess Bendikte in more brightly hued millinery but thought this hat, with its gently curved brim, looked great on her. What do you think of this new hat?

  1. I love this hat, it reminds me of a folding hat I have from Thailand, which you can use as a fan, or fold the middle out to make a hat. Princess Benedikte’s entire outfit looks very smart and unique.

  2. Although there is just a hint of a hat I once owned which you could fold into a small package, I love this delicate hat, makes her outfit look fresh and summery.
