Zara Phillips attended Ladies’ Day at the Goodwood Racecourse in Chichester today. To watch her grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s horse ‘Estimate’ run in the Artemis Goodwood Cup, Zara wore a cream straw percher disk hat trimmed with a large trailing straw bow. It is a relatively simple hat that coordinated well with her classic black and cream ensemble and I thought it suited her very well. I just wish she would have added some small earrings to complete the look. What do you think of this new hat?

Didn’t Princess Eugenie wear the same hat? I really enjoy this blog and it’s thoroughness, Thank you.
I don’t believe so- she has worn a number of similar shaped perchers but not this one.
Nice hat – earrings and lipstick would have been great too. However, I well remember what it’s like trying to get out the door when there’s a little one in the house (yes, we’ll just have time to get to the appointment and baby blerghs down your back! 🙂 ) Dislike these up and down hems on anyone, they are never flattering. Just nice seeing Zara out and about.
Love the hat! Hate the up low hem on the dress. But I think she looks great!
I am not usually a fan of percher disk hats but I do think Zara looks good in this one, the proportions are just right, and the cream straw suits her well. I think the straw bow trim is just right, as these little perchers can easily be overwhelmed by excessive amounts of trim. I do think some small earrings would have improved the look. I do not like the dress at all, or is it a top and skirt? It doesn’t flatter her at all.
Love, love love this hat. Sara wears it well!
I like the hat. The bow is just right; not too much and adds a light, fun aspect.
I just love this hat! Isn’t she known as Zara Tindall since her marriage? Anyway, she looks very nice.
Cute hat! I love her, she smiles and laughs and seems to be a fun person!
Très joli chapeau qui li va bien, mais la robe …..
Cute hat but she needs to be fitted for a better bra.
I feel like the conversation here about Zara will easily descend into a weight debate which I will not allow. Let’s keep the focus on hats, people!
Nice…plain and simple .
