Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik of Denmark sailed on to the Port of Hvide Sande yesterday, where they disembarked the royal yacht Dannebrog for a visit to Ringkøbing. For this day ashore, Queen Margrethe repeated her red straw hat with embroidered ribbon daisy trim. While she matched her hat to her suit jacket just as she did on Monday, I thought yesterday’s pairing felt much more stylish thanks to the more tailored jacket and the more interesting shape of the hat. What do you think of this ensemble?

Queen Margrethe looks particularly lovely in reds and pinks in my opinion. I do like the blazer and hat, and she is wearing an interesting brooch that looks like a turtle. I love how she often uses contrasting brooch colors on her clothes, whereas British Queen Elizabeth tends to match them to her outfits, such as a sapphire brooch on a dark blue coat, and this makes it hard to see the detail of the brooch. I like the daisy trim on her hat, a play on her nickname of Daisy.
Agree yesterday’s was a bit nicer. I do not like how her jacket is done up with one button. That is sometching she does often. I do like how she never goes over the top and flaunts her position. Good for her.
I agree Jane, I also do not like how her jackets are often done up with one button, as they pull across her and the top of the jacket blouses out when she sits down.
Way better!!
