Princess Michael at Concours of Elegance

Princess Michael of Kent attended the Concours of Elegance show of rare historic cars yesterday at Hampton Court Palace. She is seen here with this year’s best of show, a 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Touring ‘Flying Star’ in a white bucket hat with cream band around the crown. It is not a memorable hat and is not particularly flattering on Marie-Christine but fit the vintage tone of this event. I wonder- do you think Princess Michael was tipped off by event organizers so she could match her ensemble to the winning auto?!

  1. I like the hat, and I do like her despite, or maybe because of, the fact that she has an opinion on everything and everyone. She looks great in that picture.
