Princess Charlene of Monaco celebrated her 37th birthday yesterday- I’m sure you join me in wishing her the very best. While Charlene does not wear hats very often, there is one previously worn piece that stands out to me- the dove grey straw picture hat she wore for the wedding of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011. The simplicity of the design and the gentle wave of the brim made it an exquisite hat on Charlene and I would love to see her wear it again.

I love this hat.
HatQueen my family and I all agree that this dove grey straw picture hat is so right for her, and we think this is her best hat to date. The coat she wore with it was also just right for her. This soft grey compliments her fair complexion and blonde hair so well. I clicked on the link in the post by TiarasRUs and agree that the black beret looked good too. May I add a link to another hat that I personally like, the brown asymmetrical hat she wore at Monaco National Day celebrations on November 19, 2010, when she was then engaged to the Prince.

I love the hat and the outfit. I hope she wears this one again; it was just perfect for her and her coloring. It reminds me of those wonderful picture hats that everyone’s mother and grandmothers used to wear.
I believe this grey straw picture hat and the coat she wore with it, was the best guest outfit at the wedding of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011. I would not mind seeing hat, coat, or both, again.
