Last Friday, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the annual meeting of the The Royal Swedish Academy of Letters, History and Antiquities at at the House of Nobility in Stockholm. The Crown Princess, who is an honorary member of the academy and awarded a number of honours at this event, added her faux jewelled headpiece to her outfit. Such pieces are a marvellous way to add a little sparkle to a non-tiara formal events and I thought this small addition added a regal touch to her beautiful ensemble.

LOVE!
Very pretty.
I think this could be the nicest her hair has ever looked! I wish she would wear it like this more often. The softer style is so much more becoming, with or without the ornament.
I very much like this, but can’t help feeling that in the extensive Swedish vault there must be something real with proper diamonds she could have sported. Let’s hope Silv has a good clean out of those palace cupboards again soon, you never know what long lost tiaras lie lurking at the back of them!
I agree with what JamesB says: March 23, 2015 at 10:24 am. A Princess should be in real jewels!
She always looks good in hair jewels in my opinion
Nice.
