Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrates her 38th birthday today. I want to send our best wishes for her health and happiness along with suggestions of hats we would most like to see her repeat in the coming year. My pick is a simple black straw picture hat we she wore last June for the ordination of Archbishop Antje Jackeléns, the fist female archbishop in Sweden. It is a simple hat but the scale is lovely on Victoria and she wears it very well. What hat would you like to see her repeat this year?

Royal Hats 
I saw the black hat in person last year and I did not like it. The wide brim suits her but the crown was too egg shaped and pointed. With her face structure it did not look good. If the crown had been flatter it might have worked. I was seated close and just opposite and the brim concealed her face most of the time as she was looking down into the program. I really like the beige large hat someone posted a picture of above
She can wear hats well, but I do prefer her in wide brimmed hats. I would like to own all the wide brimmed hats pictured here, especially HatQueen’s pick of that black hat.
I’m a huge Victoria fan. I loved the fedora she wore in Gotland. It’s a great style for the less formal occasions. I actually like her hairstyle. She looks regal. I’m so glad she has her mother’s beautiful smile. We aren’t really sure her father actually has a smile. At any rate he doesn’t use it very often.
Oh the white fedora!!!! Yes it was a fabulous appearance. I would love to see it again too.

Thank you Hat Queen and all you other ladies out there that posted pictures of this beautiful wonderful down to earth princess, yes I am a huge Crown Princess Victoria Groupie and her husband and daughter. This is one royal that I so very much admire and believe that Sweden is so darn lucky to have her for their future Queen. She wears the wide brim hats to perfection and she has so many that I can’t pick a favorite yet the red one that is posted is just wonderful on her and the peachy one with that dress, wow what a gorgeous woman, she is indeed perfection.
Some of the hats Victoria wears are very pretty, but oh I wish she would change her hair style! If she wants to wear her hair pulled back, which makes me believe she does not want to be bothered with the styling of it, then at least a little more fullness is what is needed…so severe a style is very unflattering on the Princess….and does not do justice to the hats she wears. Someone needs to do her hair and color her lips!
Yes, it’s a shame she likes to style her hair this way everyday. She looked so young and fabulous with her hair down on the first day of their trip to Korea. God knows why she suddenly decided to wear her dair down but it was a terrific idea and a memorable time (for me at least!).

I loved this hat. It is my favourite hat of all time on her.
This is an amazing hat and boy does it suit her! I will happily take the hat, jewels, dress and Prince Daniel as well!
Doesn’t she always seem like such a lovely person. I’m not quite sure what it is, but she comes across as thoroughly nice and lots of fun to be around.
And what I’d like to see repeated… Why the stunning peach from Will and Kate’s wedding. The hat was perfection on her, and the dress showed off her fabulous body. She just looked so glamorous that day.

Josephine, I thought the headpiece was lovely also! What I hope never to see again was the topper she wore to the wedding of Prince Guillaume. Nice netting, but odd hat. What do I wish for as a repeat? Tiaras!

I would like to see her recycle the pink headpiece she wore on Leonore’s christening. It was sweet to see her wear a new version of the headpiece her mother Silvia had worn to Carl Philip’s christening a few years earlier. 😉 And I thought it complimented Victoria’s face.
