After comparing the numerous beautiful new and repeated royal hats we saw worn in June (beyond those worn to Ascot or to Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday celebrations), two very clear winners have emerged:
Lady Brabourne’s silver Dillon Wallwork design worn for her daughter’s wedding on June 25
Crown Princess Mary’s cream straw fluted brim hat with pink flower by Susanne Juul worn on June 13
This is the first month this year that has seen both two picture hats win! Jump over to the bottom of the original poll posts (new hats here and repeated hats here) to look at the results in greater detail or to the Fan Favourites page to see a collection of your favourite hats so far this year. Stay tuned first thing next week for a face off the hats we saw in July.

While I voted for Princess Astrid’s turquoise calot, I agree with the majority on Lady Brabourne’s silver. I think we all love a good picture hat!
I agree that I cannot imagine a look that could top Lady Brabourne’s. The epitome of class and grace. No wonder she won!
I just learned that the Countess of Wessex wore a hat on June 29 that was not reported until much later- you can see it here. It is a repeated Jane Taylor design and while lovely, I don’t think it would have changed our results here.
I love Lady Brabourne’s hat. It is lovely, and she wears it with impeccable style and dignity. Whatever that lady has, I want some. A class act in a timeless classic. If someone could bottle her style and flair, they would be millionaires!
Well said!
I agree with what jamiemid says: August 11, 2016 at 11:03 am. However, I also love the simplicity of Crown Princess Mary’s simple straw hat, which she also wears with style.
