Our final month-end polls narrowing down our favourite new and repeated royal hats will combine the designs we saw worn in November and December. Over these two months, we saw a number of new pieces that stood out to you, dearest readers, based on your comments. It is these twelve designs that we will face off now, shown below in the order they were worn. Royal Hats 
Perhaps it is because there are two months here, but, as in “best repeated hats” there is an over-abundance of choices! I aim to try and winnow down my favorites by closing day.
Well… since a few of you are having trouble, why don’t we forward the top two hats in this poll to the final?
Thank you Hat Queen for all your work on this blog and putting together the best of polls, which I enjoy voting in. However my favorite hat for December 2016 is not in the list the broader brimmed burgundy hat worn by Crown Ptincess Masako to the UN symposium.
Unfortunately, that hat did not have nearly the same positive response that others did.
Princess Charlene wins this poll for me. The nod to traditional costume, the slight reference to 40s styling (and to her late mother-in-law), the perfectly matching lipstick – absolutely stunning and an already iconic look. Second place goes to Princess Eugenie’s purple velvet hat – a great hat, wonderful color for her. I hope to see it again soon (hopefully with a better coat).

At the very bottom of the post, there should be a large white poll box entitled “Best new royal hat November & December 2016”. 12 choices should be listed below, each with a small box to the left. Click on these small boxes (you can select as many options as you like) then hit the ‘vote’ button at the bottom. I’ve tested this with Google chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Windows Explorer and it works as it should. Please let me know if this doesn’t work for you!
