Nothing attractive here, at all – neither the hat nor the coat.
Perhaps not to current eyes, but I think we need to keep context in mind – in 1976, I think this would have been considered quite stylish and attractive. The colour palate feels quite elegant to me for the time- no harvest gold or avocado green large prints here!

Same coat, different hat! We don’t see this very often.

Brilliant find, Jimbo. Both hats were clearly made to wear with this hat- there must have been some reason to make two instead of the usual one. I think I like this one a little better.
I don’t mind the black spots on the hat so much, but I DON’T care for the black sleeves on the coat. I almost missed them, until I saw a photo of HM in Luxembourg later that year. Also, the whole ensemble appears much pinker to me.

Interesting- love this colour. Those are some SERIOUS coat sleeves!
i think I would like this one better if it was plain. Just don’t care for the embellishment.
I remember that hat! It looks rather attractive.
