I bought the gray hat from Lucy Bowler featured in last week’s extras and confirmed that is her given last name.
Placed a bid on one of the Ascot hats. I love at least half a dozen, and was so tempted by the turban but that’s a lot of money for an unusual hat that might look dreadful on me.
Hat Queen, the “Caught My Eye” selections are extraordinary this week! Thanks for the great array of millinery, showing such wonderful creativity from around the world. The final photo of HM and Philip is very nice. I’ll bet the Queen is wearing the barely visible dress from June 20, 2019 Royal Ascot.

Great catch, as always, Jimbo! That certainly looks like the same dress. I wish we had full views of all Her Majesty’s dresses with their coordinating hats. It often makes so much more sense of the trim.
I am very impressed with CP Mette-Marit’s talent at ceramics. That is so beautiful.
I am quite in love with the stunning pale pink straw picture hat with blossom covered brim by Merve Bayindir. It would be perfect on the Countess of Wessex for Ascot.
The color on the Lucy Bowler crin is fabulous, and is only surpassed by the magnificent design on the back of the hat. It would be so perfect on The Duchess of Cambridge or Zara Tindall for Ascot.
I must be missing Ascot as I find the blush straw sweeping picture hat with bow by Joaquina Pereira Millinery perfect for the races. The Countess of Wessex or Duchess of Cambridge would look great in this style or color. It’s just a perfect hat.
Thanks for all the fun photos this week Hat Queen!
Shanon, You picked a couple of my favorites from the list above! Thank you HatQueen for this hat fest!
