Royal Ascot 2020 At Home: Day 4

We continue today with the fourth day of racing at Ascot Racecourse. While we won’t be seeing any new hats on the queen, to get today’s discussion started we have one of her go-to milliners, Rachel Trevor Morgan, in two beautiful saucer hat designs. I’ll take both, please!

What Ascot hats at home stood out to you today?

  1. I love the smaller one especially. The shape is beautiful. The big saucer is lovely too, but I like the smaller one best.

  2. This reminds me a of a dress Princess Eugenie wore a few years ago

Day 4 Royal Ascot. . My plan for this week is to dress in one color of the rainbow for each raceday and donate each day. My first donation has been via http://www.ascot.co.uk/styledwiththanks . My subsequent donations each day will be to Australian charities. Today my donation is to Lifeline Australia. Lifeline offer crisis support and suicide prevention services. Many of us have found the lockdown difficult and extra pressure is being put on these types of services which rely on community support. . Today's color is Red . Dress: The Pretty Dress Company UK Millinery: Bespoke Millinery by Hatricks by Michelle Shoes: Nine West Bag: Collette . #styledwiththanks #royalascot #racingfashion #ascot2020 #fashionsonthefield #fashionsathome #itsallabouthesash @hatricksbymichelle @lifelineaustralia @theprettydress

ROYAL ASCOT AT HOME DAY 4 #styledwiththanks #royalascot @ascotracecourse Following on from yesterday’s Colour I thought I would head for a neutral look today 🤍 I’ve been wanting to wear my Deco headpiece for some time, bold and angular but in soft mother of Pearl and lilac tones it works well with the simple asymmetric neckline if the dress. HAT: Camilla Rose – Deco DRESS: @reiss – (old, actually purchased for my very first outing to Royal Ascot when my hat love was cemented!) SHOES: @cleobarbour – trusty wedges once more with a fab jewel on the top of compliment the hat 🐚 #camillarosemillinery #camillarose #millinery #millineryauction #racingfashion #royalascotathome #royalascotathome2020 #handmade #hathire #hathirelondon #deco #ss20

ROYAL ASCOT AT HOME DAY 2 #styledwiththanks #royalascot A different start to Royal Ascot than usual but very special as I got to spend it with my two little people actually watching some racing rather than working on last minute orders 😆 Don’t forget to keep tagging @ascotracecourse & #styledwiththanks #royalascot and if you can donate to the campaign 🌈 The Auction already made lots of money but please keep bidding to help raise important funds for frontline NHS Charities 🌈 HAT: Camilla Rose – Chrysler DRESS: @jonathansimkhai (bought for my going away outfit for my wedding, so happy I can just squeeze into it!) SHOES: @harrietwildeshoes (just to most comfy things, bought also for my wedding day!) #camillarosemillinery #camillarose #millinery #vintage #racingfashion #royalascotathome #royalascotathome2020 #handmade #hathire #hathirelondon

🌈ROYAL ASCOT AT HOME 🌈 This years Royal Ascot is going to be a little different… I am very much looking forward to the millinery auction kicking off at 9am today and of course watching the racing from home 🐎 • Don’t forget @ascotracecourse are inviting fans across the globe to dress up as part of the racecourse’s wider ‘Royal Ascot At Home’ campaign, and wear a hat – whether it is a ladies’ hat or a men’s top hat, panama, trilby or other racing hat – before sharing a photo on social media using the campaign hashtags #StyledWithThanks and #RoyalAscot, and donate £5 if you can. 🌈 • @pruewhite styling @cunardline @nickymalonepr • #millineryauction #camillarose #camillarosemillinery #royalascotstyleguide2020 #royalascotstyleguide #racingfashion

  4. Got to go big on Ascot Friday!

A side note to Royal Hats readers in the U.S. NBC television will be showing Ascot race day tomorrow (Saturday) at 9 AM Eastern. Obviously no hat-wearing attendees to show/interview in person in between races, but they’ll have to fill the time somehow — who knows what interesting features they might include. Maybe hats?
