Royal Ascot 2020 At Home: Day 4

We continue today with the fourth day of racing at Ascot Racecourse. While we won’t be seeing any new hats on the queen, to get today’s discussion started we have one of her go-to milliners, Rachel Trevor Morgan, in two beautiful saucer hat designs. I’ll take both, please!

What Ascot hats at home stood out to you today?

  1. I love the smaller one especially. The shape is beautiful. The big saucer is lovely too, but I like the smaller one best.

  2. This reminds me a of a dress Princess Eugenie wore a few years ago

Day 4 Royal Ascot. . My plan for this week is to dress in one color of the rainbow for each raceday and donate each day. My first donation has been via http://www.ascot.co.uk/styledwiththanks . My subsequent donations each day will be to Australian charities. Today my donation is to Lifeline Australia. Lifeline offer crisis support and suicide prevention services. Many of us have found the lockdown difficult and extra pressure is being put on these types of services which rely on community support. . Today's color is Red . Dress: The Pretty Dress Company UK Millinery: Bespoke Millinery by Hatricks by Michelle Shoes: Nine West Bag: Collette . #styledwiththanks #royalascot #racingfashion #ascot2020 #fashionsonthefield #fashionsathome #itsallabouthesash @hatricksbymichelle @lifelineaustralia @theprettydress

  3. I really loved some Camilla Rose hats this week. I really like how clean and modern they are.

  4. Got to go big on Ascot Friday!

A side note to Royal Hats readers in the U.S. NBC television will be showing Ascot race day tomorrow (Saturday) at 9 AM Eastern. Obviously no hat-wearing attendees to show/interview in person in between races, but they’ll have to fill the time somehow — who knows what interesting features they might include. Maybe hats?
