Favourite Repeated Royal Hat: March, April & May 2020

  1. Queen Mathilde’s almond fedora is just gorgeous. My firm favorite out of the whole bunch. I feel like the trim is beautifully executed and very well-suited to the hat. Great look for her overall, and so nice to see a hat after such a break.

  2. I love that Willem’s hat got a look-in! I didn’t place him to win though. I was tempted to go for Maxima’s honey coloured straw, but realised it was her smiling face I really liked in that picture, not the hat! So although I don’t often vote for the Queen’s hats, because they tend to be over-trimmed for my taste, in this case I did. I really liked that airforce blue with mostly self-coloured trim, but a pop of orange.
