Did you see British Vogue’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful speaking with the Prince of Wales about his style?!

HQ, thanks for a fantastic “caught my eye” roundup this week – they’re all wonderful, especially the leather looped lovely and the black/white bubbles. I can’t help but think again: so many beautiful hats, and nowhere to go.
Charles’ brief interview was interesting, and like his sister Anne, seems to like hanging on to his clothes. They must come by it honestly, since their mummy wore a 9 year old hat with an at least 5 year old coat last week. Her mask was great too. As for HM meeting US presidents, during her long reign, she has met 12 out of the 13 presidents. President Lyndon Johnson never had the honor or privilege of being in her charming company. (I wonder why. Maybe because it’s considered impolite eating with elbows on the table.)
Aside: Has anyone ever noticed how well coordinated the Queen’s ensembles are with the venue? Indoor activities often find her wearing a lighter weight hat/coat, but they are still considered winter wear.
Wow! Can’t take my eyes off the “Chocolate straw brimmed hat with amazing leather interlooped crown overlay by Dutch milliner Mirjam van der Welle” – amazing it really is. Those loops!
The wide rimmed saucer with bubbles black and white hat is delightful and I can easily see it on Princess Beatrice or Eugenie.
Thanks so much for the mention and link!

While the commemoration was solemn, it is wonderful to see HM resuming some duties. We must assume that the plans are engineered to keep her safe, and that her safety will remain the overreaching concern as she continues to come back into the public eye a bit more.
MrFitzroy has to say she is rocking that mask, and it makes one wonder whether, as with her umbrellas, there will be color coordinated masks for all of her ensembles!,
On a more optimistic note, what hat do we think HM will wear on her first meeting with President Biden and Vice President Harris? A tried and true favorite? Something completely new? It’s likely several months out, at a minimum, but will be fun to speculate about!!
It is fascinating to think how many American presidents Queen Elisabeth has met in her long reign! What would she think of them all?
The mask was credited as an Angela Kelly design, a credit I found amusing!
Great to see HM The Queen in a mask and wearing a great hat. Very poignant photos, and I appreciate the flowers she laid on the tomb of the unknown soldier were similar to her wedding bouquet.
I loved the Vogue interview with Prince Charles. It was lots of fun.
– Just love the incredible headpiece of wired brown fishing net by British milliner Jenny Beattie.
– I could see Princess Eugenie in the yellow felt button percher with stitched twist bow by Czech milliner Jolana Kotabova
– the color of the Denis Gulyaev fedora is gorgeous. I could see Queen Mathilde in this.
– Zara Tindall would look great in the leopard print fur felt trilby with emerald velvet hatband and side bow by Italian brand Batog Couture Millinery
– Princess Beatrice for the teal velour felt percher with bows and pink straw flower trimmed bandeau by British milliner Rachel Trevor Morgan
– Love the colors on the Guilia Mio ccarlet beret percher with apricot veil overlay and velvet floral spray. I’d love to see Princess Eugenie in this.
