Princess Tsuguko wore a chic green hat with vibrant feathered trim on February 27 to attend a UN Youth Forum in Tokyo.
Princess Hisako in a large black beret on Wednesday to open a photo exhibition and a purple silk jacquard covered hat today for the first day of the UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in Kyoto.

My favorites are the ombre ribbon beret by Louise Pocock and Mint hat by Sarah Ross.

I agree with everyone about the fabulous hats worn by the Takamodo Princesses. I love the different styles and colors. I really can’t wait until the Tokyo Olympics when (I expect) we’ll get to see all the Japanese Royals in full force.
– LOVE the orange felt fedora by British milliner Dillon Wallwork. This would look fabulous on the Queen of Orange, Maxima!
– Great designs by Jill Humphries. I would love to see the bumper on the Duchess of Cambridge and the percher on Zara Tindall
– What a unique design on the red cloche shape with high upturned brim by Estonian milliner Emma-Elfriide Kübarad. Princess Tsuguko would look great in this.
– I love the 1940’s design on the navy trilby with avocado hatband by British brand Little Sister Millinery. This would look so chic on Princess Marie, Princess Sofia, Zara Tindall, Princess Charlene, or Princess Hisako.
I can always rely on Hisako and Tsuguko to bring out the good hats! The lavender and purple jacquard hat is especially delightful.
