Zara Tindall shared a fourth fantastic at-home racing look today, again put together by stylist Annie Miall, with red hat described by the designer as, “Peachbloom felt base, adorned with a large velvet poppy, decorative leaf cut-outs, and bow loop detail.” There’s lots to admire about this design beyond it’s vibrant cherry hue- the gently rimmed shape of the beret base, the stitched detail on the bow, the great impact of the cutout leaves. It pairs beautifully with this black velvet collared tweed coat and wraps up a week of wonderful millinery looks that have been a joy to admire.

This bright scarlet hat is so beautiful on Zara, and a color we seldom see on royal heads (minus Queen Mathilde). More stunning details, and like most cocktail perchers, this one suits her perfectly. Like many others, Day #2’s hat wins for this week because of the color blocking/contrast and the corded material, otherwise this is a close runner-up!
I’m always a sucker for a large bow, and the knotted one on this Sarah Cant wide bandeau is a great companion for the cape on Francesca Cumani.
A low key Cheltenham, but it was done much better than Ascot 2020. Grateful for these hats (and HatQueen’s coverage)!
My favorite hat is the first hat. I like the shape of the hat and the flowers are divine. My second favorite is the red one because the color is vibrant and Zara look good in that color.
This is very good, but the Day #2 hat is still my favorite of the week due to the corded felt and the interplay between the loops, cut-out leaves, quill and the the stunning contrasting rose.
Francesca Cumani’s bandeau complements the vintage cape beautifully.
Maybe due to the placement it looks more like a saucer base
This is again lovely and reminds me of the red maple leaf hat worn by the Duchess of Cambridge on the Canada tour. However my favourite this week is number 2.
WOW! This is my favorite of all the hats she wore this week. The color is gorgeous on Zara and the flower and leaf cut outs are beautiful.
That is a stunning hat! Absolutely love it. Fab colour and it’s so balanced.
She’s given us some excellent hats this week, it’s so nice to see some out and about. I’d like to see her try some different styles, she wears a lot of perchers and berets, but frankly – any hats are a treat right now!
They’re all winners, honestly. I love Zara’s style and she always has such interesting, striking hats. I think hat #2 is my favourite, love the texture and details, but she looks amazing in all of them.
Beautiful hat. I’m really liking the cut out leaves. This is a close runner with the first hat up, but the other is still winning by a nose for me, with this one jumping into second place. Lovely colour.
The cutout leaves are a simple detail that give great visual impact, don’t they?!
