  1. I think a lot of you would like the most recent post on ModekoninginMaxima.nl about when Maxima can be expected to wear a hat. It isn’t just state visits, armed forces commemoration day, and Prince’s Day.

  2. Thank you, Hat Queen, for featuring my “Blossom” hat.
Princess Anne always looks so good in uniform and so pleased in army surroundings.

Very interesting portrait of Prince Philip. I agree with Shannon, I’d love to visit the exhibition.

I love the eucalyptus green fedora by Catherine Kelly (what a striking colour!) and Antje Lücke’s handwoven headband. And yes, Marianne Jongkind’s double brimmed red capeline would be perfect for Queen Margarethe!

  3. Wonderful to see Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Laurence out honoring Armed Forces Day. The Queen also presented a Royal Banner to the Legal Branch of the Canadian Armed Forces who are celebrating their centenary. I love that she chose the Canadian Snowflake Brooch. Congratulations to the newlyweds Princess Flaminia of Hohenzollern and Baron Károly von Stipsicz de Ternova!

Just a fabulous portrait of Prince Philip. I think this would be a fascinating exhibit to attend.

    – I could see Queen Margrethe or Princess Benedikte in the red sinamay hat with interesting double brim by Dutch milliner Marianne Jongkind
