Back on June 30, Queen Margrethe repeated her orange straw hat with navy hatband to officially open the new Hans Christian Andersen House in Odense.

Lovely summer family portrait shared by Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia
Sweet photos taken over the past few weeks as Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie have visited numerous care facilities, often with Prince Charles in tow
Images from social media as indicated
HM’s collection of hourglass hats have left me with a negative impression of that shape, but Dillon Wallwork’s design is changing my mind. It’s so well proportioned and beautifully finished with the rolled ombré organdie.
Love the floating balloon headpiece!
Great selection of Royal cutie-pies this week, especially Prince Charles the Charming!
Congratulations to Flora Vesterberg!
What a gorgeous photo of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia’s family.
I love that the HGD&D bring Prince CHarles everywhere! He’s too cute, and I’m sure everyone appreciates seeing/meeting him.
– I love the lilac straw trilby with layered hatband by British milliner Louise Pocock. This color would look so pretty on the Countess of Wessex.
– Queen Maxima is a perfect choice for the wide brimmed ruffled straw hat by American milliner Anna de Pasquale. The wide brim is her jam and the ruffles add so much interest.
– I’d like to see the ivory felt angular fedora with stunning black applique lace and sequin trim by Russian milliner Anna Andrienko on CP Mary.
– I wonder if Enza Geddes is related to Anne Geddes – the celebrated baby photographer who incorporated babies into nature nature. This headpiece by Enza reminds me so much of Anne Geddes photos. The headpiece is pure fun!
Princess Alexandra wore a hat when she accompanied the Countess of Wessex to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association to open their new south west regional centre and celebrate the charity’s 90th anniversary on July 7, 2021 in Bristol, England. During the visit Princess Alexandra, who has been patron of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association since 1954, formally handed over the patronage to Sophie, Countess of Wessex

Princess Alexandra looks charming; I do love a good boater.
And beautiful vintage veiling on Princess Anne’s headpiece, but she really needs an extra pair of sunglasses. These futuristic shades rather clash with the feathers!
I love Ian Bennett’s beret with hot pink feather fireworks and Enza Geddes’ mini balloon headpiece!,
And did you notice the fairytale cut out motifs in the ribbon Queen Margaret cut to open the Hans Christian Andersen House?
I can’t do photos on here, but you seem to have missed Sophie Wessex in a feather-trimmed fedora at the Windsor Horse Show, Princess Anne in a blue fascinator at Newmarket Races and HM presenting the Windsor Polo Cup in Lime Green this week.
Also the Empress of Japan in a hat-outfit repeating from the early 2000s.
Indeed- thanks Lex!
