Love the hat. How glamorous. The dating is a bit iffy, I was around in 1966 but I’m nowhere near 61 yet!.

Surely all that fluff disqualifies it from being a pillbox! To me, the iconic flattened cylindrical shape has to be apparent for a true pillbox, and at least from the front this could be a turban or anything! Not disuputing that it’s very glamorous on Grace, though.
Many of the 1960s pillboxes were so big, they doubled as turbans!
