On Friday, Princess Kako wore a black silk covered bowler hat to mark the anniversary of Emperor Showa’s death while Princess Hisako and Princess Yoko were spotted arriving at the Palace Sanctuaries in streamlined cream hats.

I was walking in the downtown core in Northern Canada today and a gentleman was wearing a Trilby. If I wasn’t masked up I wanted to yell at him how dapper he looked. You rarely see a Trilby worn in my neck of the woods, so I was pleased someone did and pleased I knew it was a Trilby 😊
Princess Akiko at the 58th All Japan University Rugby Football Championship Final on January 9.
I always like Jolana Kotabova‘s work, and this week’s is no exception. The Jill Humphries pink feathered design would be so fun for the fairies in Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The classic portrait look of the third Kate photograph is my favorite. Victoria looks fabulous in her very different photos.
The photos of the Duchess of Cambridge are stunning. The ones in the white dress remind of Princess Margaret’s 18th (?) Birthday portraits. Absolutely beautiful.
The Jolana Kotabova Trilby is divine. This color would look dynamite on Queen Maxima.
Jill Humphries has 2 spectacular hats this week. The red Trilby and veil would look incredible on CP Mary. Her pink pyramid hat is pure fun. It would be perfect at Royal Ascot.
The Laura Del Villagio green felt hat would be superb on our birthday girl the Duchess of Cambridge.
