It’s interesting seeing these photos and how avant garde The Queen was. This hat is fun and unusual and compliments her summery dress so well.
This is such a sweet hat albeit a rather unusual shape. Soft greens and pinks are so summery. It’s a lovely look for Queen Elizabeth. The officers’ and soldiers’ hats are also rather smart.
I rather like the whimsey of a posy plonked upside down on to her head! The soft colours are not typical of the more recent queen; this looks like a photo that has been coloured afterwards – I wonder if it was fresher greens and pinks in real life?
