This Week’s Extras

Last weekend, the Duchess of Sussex wore a wide brimmed hat to a polo match. I believe the design, with crin brim, was a ready-to-wear mass produced piece.
Princess Beatrice wore a black hairbow Monday at the Chelsea Flower Show and Princess Michael of Kent wore a chic tan leather newsboy cap to the same event.

Queen Sonja repeated her taupe leather pillbox Thursday at the opening of the Bergen Festival.
The Duke of Cambridge was spotted yesterday rehearsing for next Thursday’s Trooping the Colour. This year, it will be the Irish Guards Trooping their Colour and Prince William is the regiment’s Colonel.

The following new millinery designs caught my eye this week (see the comments for more):

Such a lovely snap shared by Princess Charlene to mark Princess Gabriella’s first official event. Mother and daughter both wore gowns by Terrence Bray.
The Swedish King and Queen at the launch of the ABBA Voyage concert in London. How fun is Queen Silvia’s suit?!

  1. I believe HatQueen featured another Origami Hats cloche last week. This brand definitely has a flair with this style.

I agree that Silvia’s suit is fun! What a great look for her.

  2. I’m going with William for the win. The hats by the Saucy Milliner are beautiful – I just want to sit and stroke them the fabric looks so soft. Queen Silvia – is this a new outfit? One found at the book of a wardrobe? Or has she raided Abba’s wardrobe? It fits well and the colour suits her beautifully.
