Another outing for King Carl Gustaf’s handsome black fedora and Queen Silvia’s hat with chocolate velvet crown and fur brim.

The following new millinery design caught my eye this week (see the comments for more):

  1. The midnight blue with mustard silk grosgrain ribbon and bow was a surprisingly successful color combination. I am going to have to go check the definition of a fedora after seeing the red hat from buttons_bows_hat_boutiques. Princess Alexandra is glowing! I am looking forward to her wedding! (I checked the definition of a fedora and I still don’t think that is a good description of that red hat. There is no middle crease and no pinches in the front.)

  3. Crown Princess Victoria looks relaxed and comfortable for her outing in Oz!
Crown Princess Kiko is so beautiful – the pale blue ensemble is wonderful.
While it’s always great to see the Swedish King’s fedora, what I liked better was Silvia’s warm fur hat. (see the 7th and 8th photo above) She wore it as far back as 16 years ago.
