Princess Delphine was also in attendance but did not wear a hat. What do you think about these hats?

I’m still of the same mindset the draping of the fabric for this bandeau is messy, and unfortunately the wind only made things worse by blowing the veil and Mathilde’s hair, creating not a very tidy look in most photos. Disappointing since otherwise she looks quite chic, and the pearls look better this time compared to the pearl choker at the Duke of Edinburgh’s thanksgiving service.
I was surprised to see Paola in a full hat, but I assume the cold and wind played a factor into this. She looks great in this beret, but I’ll never be of the opinion that brown works as a color for memorial services/funerals/etc. like this event.
Claire looked great, but I think a different hairstyle (ponytail? side chignon?) would’ve set off the hat better. Standard looks for Léa and Sibilla, and I’m honestly disappointed Delphine didn’t wear a hat this time since I’m certain she would’ve had a good one (although it appears this was this was the first time she and Albert publicly showed an affectionate gesture, so I guess that’s a good thing, or so I hope).
