There were numerous notable guests that I’m going to leave up to you, dear readers, to share in the comments. That wraps up the coronation!

Besides the hats others have mentioned or pictured I liked Cherie Blair’s floral covered calot. I loved the colors and thought it looked good with her dress. She could have gotten away with a large hat, but that would have blocked someone else’s view.
Very unusual and pretty use of veiling on Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau’s saucer.
It’s too bad the images of the foreign leaders and their spouses aren’t better. Agata Kornhauser-Duda’s hat looks especially good.
I loved Penny Mordaunt’s entire look. It really fulfilled the goal of looking contemporary, but also honoring tradition. The gold embroidery is so striking with the teal.
Such a pretty saucer for Samantha Cameron!

I loved Pippa Middleton’s hat

Carole and Pippa always do well at these occasions!
The highlight for me from this group was Samantha Cameron’s Jess Collet: I thought the design and proportions suited her as well as being extremely elegant and appropriate for the occasion; it also co-ordinated superbly with the rest of her look.
The other hat which caught my attention was Akshata Murty’s Jane Taylor for the same reasons as Samantha Cameron although it was less successful because the wonderful design detail got lost against the colour of her hair; the effect would have been better if she’d chosen another hue – a burnt orange or white perhaps.
