Royal Hats81 years ago to this day in 1939. The Queen Mother  departed the liner  ‘Empress of Britain’ at Southampton in a uniquely shaped, folded hat trimmed with a pair of jeweled brooches.

Royal Hats 49 years to June 21 and July 3, 1972 and a wonderful green patterned halo brimmed hat worn by Princess Anne for a polo match in Windsor Great Park and a visit to Monaco. Classic 1970s groovy chic!

Royal Ascot 2020 At Home: Day 5

We’ve done it, everyone- we’ve survived a spectator-barred Ryal Ascot! Thanks to Ascot Racecourse and The British Millinery Guild’s joint #StyledWithThanks campaign, we have enjoyed wonderful hats worn at home and watched the campaign’s Millinery Auction raise £50,00 and counting.
