King Willem-Alexande and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands continued their visit to Germany with a stop at the University of Hohenheimwaves during a visit in Baden-Wuerttemberg. After debuting a new hat this morning, Máxima repeated an in Irene Bussemaker hat she wore in November 2010 during a visit to Brussels. This hat, a navy blue triangular, flat beret hat covered in grey net and wrapped in a navy net veil, is small but packs a lot of style punch.
It looks great on Máxima (much better with this lovely navy lace patterned dress than with the grey pant suit she wore it with last time) and showed more of this young queen’s growing ability to mix and match her hats. This is a trend I hope will continue!

I do not like berets to be so flat but this is a perfectly good hat. It is admireable that Queen Maxima is wearing her hats more than once. Wearing a hat only once is such a waste.
This one looks ok, but I can never be a fan of the bean-bag hat.
Sometimes the smaller hats get lost but this one is very striking and elegant. It’s so beautiful with that dress.
So right. What a great hat with this dress.
She looks cute as a button and fresh as a daisy!
Perfection!
