Yesterday, Prince Henrik of Denmark visited Garderhoejfort, the historic fortress in Gentofte, with his grandsons, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix. It certainly looks like a grand time was had by this trio, who posed for the press in reproduction soldier’s hats. I think this might be one of my favourite royal hat photos of 2013!

Royal Hats 
What a wonderful fun photo. I love the hats. I remember my grandfather used to wear hats and he would let me wear them sometimes when I was playing. After he died, my grandmother gave me his pocket watch and his fedora that he wore all the time. No amount of money could buy these items from me. I was ten at the time and still have them 34 years later.
