Last Tuesday, November 26th, Prince Hitachi and Princess Hanako visited the Lake Biwa Museum in Oroshimo Town, Shiga prefecture. Princess Hanako wore a smart trilby style hat with a narrow band and bow around the crown in the same shade of slate blue as her suit. I thought the whole look was modern and so stylish. Didn’t she look marvelous?

A trilby for a member of the Japanese royal family feels like a very modern and edgy (for them) fashion decision. I love it!
That’s a hat with some kick!
The entire outfit is very dignified and elegant. I really like her hat, it looks good on her and with her outfit.
The Japanese royal princesses are looking so stylish these days. This hat is so cute but cute in a way that works for a more mature lady (not little girl cute).
