Queen Sonja Visits Folk Museum

Queen Sonja of Norway visited the Norwegian Folk Museum in Oslo today to see the exhibition “1814: The Game of Denmark and Norway“. She wore a lovely black wool velvet pork pie hat with pinwheel flower trim that matched the lapel on her charcoal suit. I thought the whole look was very chic and really liked the shape and scale of this hat on her. What do you think?

  1. This isn’t a hat that I particularly like in the abstract at all, but I think it goes so well with the outfit that it can be counted as very successful.
