The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Middleton family joined the Queen for church this morning- Kate wore a new grey alpaca hat from Lacorine with wide cuffed brim
Make sure you did not miss the lovely Christmas photos from the Belgian royal family, the Greek royal family, Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana, the Swedish Royal Family, The Danish Queen and Prince Henrik with their grandchildren and the Dutch monarchs with their daughters.
Lovely new portraits of the Danish twins for their 6th birthday and Princess Margriet and Peter von Vollenhoven for their 50th wedding anniversary

This picture from March 2016 shows the detail much better – not one of my favorites, except for the fact that HM is out and about again, looking great. The feather is the best feature, along with the wonderful royal blue color. I don’t care for the ice-cutter shape.

HOORAY for alpaca, Good show Kate!
So glad Her Majesty is on the mend!
Alpaca is SUCH a great choice for Kate- all the warmth and glamour of fur but none of the controversy!
So great to see Her Majesty out and about again!
Glad to see QE2 back and sailing along … and love all the family photos from the European royals (although amazed that Maxima chose that lobster necklace for her shot, oh well, that’s Maxima for you – still adore her).
Nice to have you back too, HatQueen!
I am quite glad that she is well … often at that age one can get pneumonia and, well, die. 😦
