Top New Royal Hat: December 2017

Let’s take a minute to look back at our favourite hats worn last month. In December, there were eleven new royal millinery designs that, based on your comments, stood out as particularly successful. It’s now time to take a closer look at these eleven beauties and choose a single finalist to put forward in our contest for Favourite New Royal Hat of the Year.

  1. As I was browsing the internet this morning, I discovered the Duchess of Cambridge has the same style hat as Autumn Phillips’ red one – sans picks, in a plain navy fabric. I was on several sites, but I think it was Jane Taylor?

  2. My, this was a good month for new hats. So glad I get to vote more than once. My first choice was for Princess Mako since we don’t often get to recognize such successful Japanese hats.

    • Sometimes, it’s impossible to choose just one hat! And how great it is that some Imperial royal hats have made it through to these favourites polls this year!
