to this day in 1974, 44 years ago today, when Princess Anne wore this cloche hat while on a visit to Toronto. I can’t find any photos or video that give us a clue to the colour scheme of this piece- do any of you remember?

Brilliant finds, both of you. It’s not as exciting as I had hoped it would be.
I think it’s cream coloured, and is this outfit which she wore for the 1994 D day commemorations and no doubt on many other occasions before and since!
I wonder if the hat was cream/oatmeal colour, with a yellow ribbon band? I have found a trooping of the colour balcony picture from the early 1980’s, where Anne is wearing a yellow dress and what might be the same hat. She is looking up, so hard to be certain, but it looks very similar and we know Anne likes yellow.
