Zara Tindall’s plum felt teardrop percher with quill and mass of cut burgundy and violet feathers by Juliette Botterill worn to the Cheltenham Festival on March 13
Whilst I like Zara’s perches she wears so many that nine stand out for me.
I voted for Camilla’s fabulous helmet (erm, that sounds a bit wrong!) as it’s such an innovative hat, and so very her!!
Five beauties!
And it’s nice to know that our collective taste doesn’t run in narrow paths – no “hats only look good if they’re perchers” or “saucers” or any nonsense like that.
Gorgeous! I started admiring the exquisitely crafted feather flowers (with pearl centers, yet!) on Máxima’s and then realized that feathers are important to the designs of the other four as well.
Beautiful hats all. Glad that rich purple won, although I loved her navy one too.
Yes indeed, all lovely hats.
I agree that the plum colour is incredible on Zara. Purples can be harsh against fair skin –, this one is perfect, it makes her complexion glow.
