Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary took part in Flag Day ceremonies in Copenhagen on Saturday, remembering members of Danish forces who have lost their lives in service to their country.
For this commemoration, Crown Prince Frederik was predictably attired in military uniform with cap. Crown Princess Mary repeated her black felt beret-calot trimmed with black felt and feather leaves on the side and a black net birdcage veil.Embed from Getty Images
The trim on this hat has been added over it’s past two outings; while it’s subtle, as far as trims go, the hat benefits from it, softening it’s previously stark lines and framing Princess Mary’s face in a lovely way. Paired with her gorgeous blue coat, the black hat lends that slight bit of gravitas to the ensemble that so fits a memorial event such as this one.Embed from Getty Images
Every royal hat we see this year is one to be thankful for- what do you think of Crown Princess Mary’s black hat on Saturday?
