  1. Oh what a sweet photo of the Dutch King re-enacting his marriage proposal!
I love the skiing photos of the Swedish RF

    – I agree with mittenmary that the watermelon pink beret percher with perfect bow by Awon Golding for Lock & Co would look fabulous on Princess Eugenie
    – What a fantastic woven straw newsboy cap by Australian milliner Lauren J. Ritchie! That is so unique and funky! This would be quite fun on Autumn Phillips.
    – I love the pyramid hat in black and red checked buntal straw with black lace and tassel by American milliner Laura Del Villaggio. It’s very unique. This would look chic on Princess Charlene.
    – I agree with mittenmary about Jolana Kotabova and her phenomenal designs. The camel percher would look great on Beatrice Borromeo.
    – Jill Humphries’ ombre blue teardrop percher is so striking. I like mittenmary’s idea of Queen Maxima wearing it on Prinsjesdag. For Ascot, this would also be striking on Zara Tindall.

A couple more designs caught my eye this week:

Mind Your Bonce’s percher look like a top knot (current hairstyle that’s popular). I love it and think this would look chic on the Duchess of Cambridge

I love this black fur felt beret with poppies by Christine Waring. This would be lovely on the Countess of Wessex for Remembrance Day

  2. Jolana Kotabova is one of the milliners whose works I consistently admire! Since we have some royal christenings to look forward to, how about this elegant camel beret for Meghan? I don’t think we’ve seen Eugenie in watermelon pink, but the color and the style of Awon Golding‘s would be lovely for her. The Jill Humphries feathered percher would be a knockout even in solid blue, but the ombré takes it to another level! This would be a stunning Prinsjesdag look for Max.

Love the proposal re-enactment and the three-generation Swedish ski outing! And what an interesting story about Lee Radziwill’s Givenchy.

  3. Awww..King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima are the cutest😍 congratulations to Princess Eugenie and her husband on their new addition, and to the Duke and Success of Sussex for their impending arrival of a new cutie to love. Happy 40th anniversary to the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg! As for hats…the ombre blue feather work teardrop percher by Jill Humphries is sublime. I would imagine that the feather movement during a slight breeze is fabulous❤
