#1. I love that entire outfit look…so classic and was so memorable for the event
It’s interesting to see opinion so evenly split between all the options, which doesn’t happen very often. It just shows that I’m right in my opinion that they’re all good hats and pretty successful combinations!
Well, call me a nattering nabob of negativism, but my favorite is the last one in the array–no hat, but her hair swept back into a chignon!
It has to be Number 1 for me. I love this dress and the shoes.
I admit to a fondness for #2, but that may be in part due to my applauding her good sense in wearing a wide-brimmed hat in Australasia.
Oh, dear, I think I’m soloing here: I liked the third choice hat in cream, because the brim looks more crisp and strong, and frames her face well. Second choice was the blush, and then of course third was the beige button, which just seemed lost alongside the lovely print dress.
CP Mary looks great in any hat style and color. Or dress!
Oh dear..I guess my opinion differs from the other posters. I like the dress and various jackets. However , the colour of the hats do not go in my opinion well with the dress or jackets. I am leaning a bit towards the blush.
CP Mary is someone who looks great in any hat style and color. The blush is so lovely on her. My favorite of the hats is #1 as it’s style leaves me a 1940s vibe that is so iconic.
Love #2 beautiful and feminine also love the colour. Thanks for sharing.

Its a beautiful dress which looks fabulous with all three hats. However the first look (without the jacket) is kind of iconic – such a fantastic look, classic and giving off Jackie O vibes whilst still being totally modern. Just a stellar look.
Of course on that day Mary had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction too – which she handled with ablomp! Embed from Getty Images
