Hat From the Past

Royal Hats to this day in 1897 when Queen Victoria celebrated her Diamond Jubilee with a service of thanksgiving outside St. Paul’s Cathedral. The hats are difficult to see in detail but one thing is clear- the occasion was well celebrated!

Hats aside- looking back at such spectacles, I’m amazed how they were organized without the modern communication devices we so rely on today!
