On Tuesday, Queen Margrethe opened an exhibition celebrating the 90th birthday of the Danish Royal Yacht Dannebrog. For this event, she repeated her burgundy bumper hat with feather trim.
The following new millinery designs caught my eye this week (open this post to scroll through the comments for more):

Regarding the pincushion hat, when I was a child, my parents had a table decoration made of toothpicks of various colors. After some years, they tired of it and we began to use the toothpicks as actual toothpicks. I’m imagining that whoever buys that pincushion hat may find it useful in coming years after the hat part wears out or they tire of it.
Given our discussion of sourcing feathers a while back, I was intrigued to see the hats made with vegan feathers. Does the milliner make these herself or source them from somewhere?
Many lovely and intriguing hats this week.
And thank you for posting these in the comments. Minor as it was, it saves clicking back and forth. Your extra work is appreciated.
Yes, Anel Heyman has become well known for her sinamay feathers which indeed, she makes herself.
Thank you!
