  1. I wish I could see more of Zenouska’s outfit from Westminster and Windsor. I’m sure she wore Dior like Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece and is it a Laura Cathcart hat?? Can someone confirm?

Ella looks sublime. Princess Alexandra looks beautiful as always and it’s good to see Marina

  2. Lots of lovely hats here. The service was really moving.

I noticed in the time since the Queen’s death there have been very few hats apart from the church services. QC did not wear a hat on many of her formal daytime activities (greeting the public at various events, joining the King when he addressed the Houses of Parliament, at the receiving of the motion of Condolence at the Scottish Parliament as well as many others). The PW too- she wore a hat to the military event, but not to the greeting the public events even though the dress was fairly formal. I hope this doesn’t signal too much of a reduction of millinery on public occasions, I so love seeing all the hats!

    • For years and years, Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales have not worn hats for all daytime events as did Queen Elizabeth. While I will always cheer for more hat wearing (!!), I don’t think it’s entirely surprising that their frequency of hat wearing in these new roles is similar to what it was before.
