Favourite New Royal Hat: June, July & August 2020

Over the summer, we saw a handful of wonderful new royal hats make their debut for Ascot, a royal investiture (and family wedding!) and a national day celebration. During times when any sight of a royal hat has been scarce, new designs to admire has been particularly welcome.

We’re now taking a look back at these beauties and choose winner to move forward in our end of year contest for Favourite New Royal Hat of 2020.

While we usually put forward a handful of favourite hats for polls, pandemic times call for rule changes so we’re going to face off most of the repeated hats we saw over the summer. The winner you choose here will move forward in our end-of-year contest for Favourite Repeated Royal Hat of 2020.

Favourite New Royal Hat: March, April & May 2020

Despite a near global shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still managed to see a number of new royal hats make their debuts during the months of March, April, May and June. We’ll now take a second look at these six bandeau, saucer, beret percher, pillbox and fedora designs to choose one to move forward in upcoming contest for Favourite New Royal Hat of 2020.
