Results for your favourite repeated and favourite new royal hats worn over the summer in are in with two clear winners:

Over the summer, we saw a handful of wonderful new royal hats make their debut for Ascot, a royal investiture (and family wedding!) and a national day celebration. During times when any sight of a royal hat has been scarce, new designs to admire has been particularly welcome.

We’re now taking a look back at these beauties and choose winner to move forward in our end of year contest for Favourite New Royal Hat of 2020.

While we usually put forward a handful of favourite hats for polls, pandemic times call for rule changes so we’re going to face off most of the repeated hats we saw over the summer. The winner you choose here will move forward in our end-of-year contest for Favourite Repeated Royal Hat of 2020.

Results from polls for your favourite new hat and favourite repeated hat worn in March, April and May are in. Not only is there a tie, there is also a first here at Royal Hats- all three winning hats were worn to the same event:

Despite a near global shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still managed to see a number of new royal hats make their debuts during the months of March, April, May and June.
