Lady Sarah Chatto attended Royal Ascot today, repeating her ecru textured straw hat with rounded, Garbo style crown and extended brim. It’s such a classic hat that Sarah always wears well.

The Duchess of Gloucester attended again today in a navy sinamay hat that looks to be trimmed with navy leather leaves. Unfortunately, the brim binding on this design is starting to come unattached, leaving visible wobbles and bumps around it.
I just love Lady Sarah – she has a style that suits her and she’s comfortable in. The pairing of the palest pink and orange sherbet colours is inspired. The jewellery is quite beautiful. One of my very favourite royals.
Lady Chatto wore a cardigan!! I can’t see anything here that stands out except the lady in the fabulous yellow dress, great striped hat and handbag.
A nice easy look I would love to see on Lady Sarah another time, but this feels too casual for Ascot; also, considering it’s the only hat we’ve seen her in recently diminishes this look for me unfortunately.
This is quite a lovely ensemble for Birgitte, but it is most unfortunate the details on this hat have seen better days (and I was able to confirm my suspicion of it being a old repeat, dating back to 2002):

Brilliant find, Jake!
Yes, a brilliant find with the added bonus of Princess Alexandra looking amazing in pink.
Princess Alexandra is my favourite Royal and she wears beautiful clothes. She looks wonderful in pink.
Lady Sarah’s ecru straw hat always looks lovely.
Nice to see The Duchess of Gloucester in something different. A shame it was not quite right.
Sarah looks good as always. I am still wishing she’d wear a little make-up. Too bad the Duchess of Gloucester’s hat binding is a mess because I thought her hat was 100% better than yesterday’s.
