I think Max’s is my favorite for its understated elegance. The addition of the small veil is just perfect.
Always love the videos of the milliners practicing their craft, and I especially appreciate the efforts of Letitzia and the other royals who do not usually typically wear hats.
So good to see Princess Haya! All the hats are blurring together a bit for me, but the Sheikha of Qatar’s hat stood out in my mind and so did Queen Letizia’s ring hat. The beading on the hat and the veil added to it’s nice appearance. As for the Sheikha’s hat, it’s height added flair to an already unusual ensemble.
Quite a variety of Royal mourning styles. Many of the photos were taken just as they were walking past the Daedalus Conservation sign stating “Hard Hats Must be Worn” which actually lifted my spirits a tad. Attached is a very interesting article with videos about the project for anyone interested in the magnificent stained glass of St. George’s Chapel.
