On September 25th, Queen Camilla wore a voluminous black tam with feather trim to attend Sunday service at Crathie Kirk. This hat is better viewed here at its last outing in 2006.
On September 29th, Princess Beatrice stepped out in a green velvet knotted bandeau by Jennifer Behr. It’s such a gorgeous colour on her.

I think the tams with the feathers look very well on Camilla, it seems a shame she reserves them for her Scottish looks only! The large hat suits her, as always, but this isn’t my favourite example, I’m somehow not taken with the shape.
These tams and berets are very becoming on Camilla. The feather is outstanding on the green hat. I’ll bet all three, along with their tweedy, plaid dresses and coats that accompany them, have a permanent storage closet up in Scotland, since we only see them worn up there. As to the large navy hat, very predictable on (and off!) her.
Beatrice’s emerald-green ensemble (my favorite of all the greens out there) is very becoming on her, but I think a tan, grey, or off-white coat coat would make it even nicer. The green dress doesn’t sing inside the black coat.
Lovely black hat with white band.
