Favourite New Royal Hat: March 2019

March was a colourful month of royal hats with numerous striking new designs making debut appearances for Commonwealth Day, the Cheltenham Festival, St. Patrick’s Day among others. Twelve lovely new designs in calot, saucer, beret, percher, fedora and bandeau shapes received particular admiration- twelve designs we’ll revisit now to choose a semifinalist for Favourite New Royal Hat of 2019.

  1. Lovely to have you back HQ! I hope you had a very rewarding royalhats-free week.
    How interesting is this poll! is this a first, Zara with no less than 5 new hats? each one a terrific return to form for this hatwearer whose eye for drama reminds me that her mother also made bold hat choices in her younger days. The other contenders are pretty captivating too. I’m looking forward to the results.
